Bullshit
I am sure of this.
No one is ever as confident as they seem, or as they perceive themselves to be.
We all have flaws known & unknown.

Order of Things In Chaos
So many of us are afraid to questîon those in charge especially when their authority is questionable & without right, when it is we who put them there. Imagine how much more placid & persuaded we would be if the danger of unquestioned authority were not so evident. It can be so easy. One in authority need not round up the populace to prevent dissent. We lock ourselves in our homes with obese inducing foods & inane television entertainment that works just as well to keep us in our place. Our jail keepers are television channels & networks of moribund entertainment, these modern subversive, subconscience icons of misinformation & passive entertainment give us what we want most, to be comforted like children, to be coddled & quelled, a stacis that so conveniently, whether deliberate or not, keeps us from thinking for ourselves, & questioning those in control.

Kerry by A Landslide!!!!!!
I dare say, I do. Republicans voting for Kerry. No way. But in a way, yes. By not voting. So many Republicans support the party, but not the man. An embarrassing President. A man who should be equally as smart as the rest of us, if not more so, but is not. Between the large numbers of new Democratic registrations and those Republicans who in incredible excess will not vote at all, we will have a Kerry landslide. Some say they're not voting for a President, but for the Presidents Cabinet. Yeah, really, I've heard that. Does that make any sense? Vote not for The President, but for his subordinates? I don't think so.

unaware of the doubt that guides them,
the cement of perceived sanity they walk on.
forever on a quest for reason and truth of purpose,
a path strewn with the waste of past,
lost dreams spent,
run over by reality and left like roadkill,
to dry in the sun.
rhythm, sound, light and motion,
permeate blankets of warm metaphor,
that which we accept to be reality.
we stride forward in kind,
step by step,
whittled down to a single file,
toward a black hole of expectation,
hope and desire,
the hammer of reality awaits
to crash down upon us and reveal our innermost,
crimson bright and chunky,
spilt out on the slaughterhouse floor.

Instead of invading Iraq, Bush could have paid off the ENTIRE debt of some 30+ Third World countries, given countless nations a radical chance at improving their economic livelihood, created tremendous good will for the US, encouraged them (through incentives) to embrace democracy and economic reform (which would be far harder for governments to avoid with the huge opportunity this would have provided) and in the end helped turn impoverished nations into vibrant nations and -- hey, it's good for the US economy -- growing markets for our goods and services."

mother nature pays florida a visit
mother natures pissed off. shes so pissed off she's come back for more. mothers got a new dyson designed hurricane so she can suck all the shit out of that fountain of yucks penninsula, divine retribution for getting that burnt bush into office, undeserved, letting him plunder our pockets for our crop of cash. consumerism is the new the culture. cash the crop, brought to market and exchanged for far less than its worth. the modern feudal system whereby we toil on cement fields, forests of glass and steel, urban farming and foraging for cash, only to be left with scraps after the tax collector has come by to gather their share of cash crop for the ruling class. less than pawns, we are the felt bottoms, the thin difference between finely cast gold chess pieces and the dusty board they play their lethal games on.

peak oil, a new term for you all to know. know it well, it is a sign of a very bleak future. you read enough history, reading of civilizations in decline all throughout pre-history and history, wondering what it could be like, to be part of civilization in decline. am i too pessimistic, realistic, when you have kids you worry. all the signs of a very fucked world fast approaching seem to be there. read this article linked to the title of this entry, google the term "peak oil", and know for yourself. one of many things we're never told of, that we never bother to know of. so much information so at hand and we sweep it and bag it like fallen leaves in autumn.
