Circle In The Square

Circle In Square

by Ralph Pitre

Pablo was now, "the circle in the square", as the Agent from List Management, said of him. Pablo once fit in quite nicely, amongst others like him in a category sanctioned by List Management. But as time passed, his interests broadened and his spirit grew restless. He no longer fit in. List Management could no longer categorize him. Frustrated, List Management sent a specialist to study Pablo for one year.
The Specialist started his resolution with one word, "Misfit!"

"Pablo Barbie has no desire or inclination to fit in. Any attempt to fit him into a list was met with radical and unpredictable behavior, perhaps deliberately. Lists were modified, re-categorizing others, disrupting lives to accommodate this lone misfit, who would then change abruptly, causing the Crisis List Management Team to trash all their hard work and list tinkering. Pablo Barbie can't be listed. Not even Misfit or the older List Heading, "Floater", would serve to categorize him. Pablo Barbie can not be listed!"

"What does one do with someone you can't list?"
"Where do you send them?
"It's been years, if not decades since we've had a Misfit among the population. I thought we had done away with that propensity. I never imagined that we would encounter someone so rebellious. He has no desire to conform and is a danger to us all as a whole. While being non-conformist might seem desirable or even attractive, to some of our population, it is nonetheless dangerous to society as a whole, actions that might eventually lead to anarchy."
Pablo sits alone in an apartment, used by the police to hold him, until they figure out what to do.

He discusses the possibilities and his options with his lawyer and his father.
An assistant arrives and speaks quietly with the lawyer who then tells Pablo that a sentence of death has actually been suggested by a board member.
Pablo is visited by the board member, Martin, who suggested execution as the only course of action possible; be rid of the contaminant. Destroy it, before it destroys us. Martin reveals a gun he has smuggled into the building. He aims it at Pablo, shocked by the act.

Pablo pleads, admitting he doesn't fit, but explaining that he has committed no violence against a person or society. Martin explains he has done worse.

"The potential of his actions to dismantle what stability we have as a society is too great, too great to let you live. Your existence alone is dangerous, you must go away, so that no one knows what has happened to you, no one knows you ever existed. Don't you see what you've done? I am doing this for the good of all, but I must kill myself as well for society, because of what your actions have driven me to."

"I have not driven you mad. Your own fears have done this to you. You imagine me a monster and fear me, yet you don't know why you see me as a monster. I am a monster because that is the category you have put me in. I did not make myself a monster. You made me a monster. Killing me as well as yourself will only hide the truth about your fears and everyone else. They will always fear change, freedom of expression. They will always fear what they can't categorize. What they can't put in there little lists."

The Perfect Game

Game pieces well chosen...
Well carved and placed on a board of the imaginary not of our own but of our home
Convinced to select it as a game, until it's not a game we will win but never meant to but will lose...
We always do
We have the participant blue ribbon win to prove it..
And the imagination to show we've won...

Standup!!! Say Something!!

Guy or Girl...
Don't submit assuming you have no choice...no say
You do!
Stand at the counter waiting to make a purchase and a person comes up from behind and tells you what to buy...do you buy it? If the person demanding you to make the purchase against your wishes is the person dictates the success of your position, who can and will fire you if you don't... do you buy it based on a direct threat, a perceived threat?

If the purchase is made by you, against your wishes, do you turn back at the person and confront them? Do you hide the fact it just happened; why? It happens often but why does it happen?

Yes it happens because of weakness and fear...

Palestinian film director and screenwriter Nawras Abu Saleh
MARDIN, Turkey
Palestinian film director and screenwriter Nawras Abu Saleh is dreaming of shooting a movie in Jerusalem.

"The biggest dream of mine is to shoot the liberation of Jerusalem. [Through that movie], I want to tell people what freedom is," Saleh told Anadolu Agency in Turkey's southeastern Mardin province.
His 2013 movie "Oversized Coat," tells the story of Palestinians between the 1987-2011 period, which include intifadas and peace conventions.

Condemning U.S. President Donald Trump's move on Jerusalem, Saleh said: "The decision will even create turmoil in the U.S."

"Jerusalem is not only a capital of Palestinians but also a capital of the world," he added.

Erdogan's stance over Jerusalem
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's stance after Trump's announcement made Palestinians happy, said the director.
"We saw how much Turks love Palestine after the Israeli opening fire in the [Turkish-owned] Mavi Marmara [ship] incident. In the latest [Jerusalem] incident, we've also seen Erdogan's stance and were happy."
Erdogan called on member states of Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an extraordinary summit in Istanbul on Wednesday to discuss the U.S. move.

Last week, Donald Trump announced his decision despite widespread international opposition to formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

During his election campaign last year, Trump repeatedly promised to relocate the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Jerusalem remains at the core of the Israel-Palestine conflict, with Palestinians hoping that East Jerusalem -- now occupied by Israel -- might eventually serve as the capital of a future Palestinian state.

Wall Street Journal Killed Editorial on Trump’s Mob Ties

How do you claim to be a New Yorker and claim Trump has only done good for New York when all the bad he's done has been out in the open.

By Jonathan Chait@jonathanchait

In a short period of time, five staffers have departed The Wall Street Journal editorial page. The general cause of their departures, willing and otherwise, is known: the Journal editorial line has increasingly conformed with the pro-Trump dictates of the rest of the Murdoch media empire. (Most recently, Journal editorials, which once presented Ken Starr as the last hope to preserve the rule of law, have fomented various right-wing conspiracy theories about Robert Mueller and called for his firing.)

Sam Tanenhaus, deep into his excellent story on the dwindling band of anti-Trump conservative intellectuals, reports more specifically on the circumstances surrounding their departure. As Trump's chances of winning the nomination grew, the paper buried an editorial highlighting his underworld connections:
Those were heavy losses in pages whose content is managed by fewer than thirty people in total. And the reason, according to several defectors, was the Journal's skidding reversal once Rupert Murdoch realized Trump could win. Several sources pointed to the editorials by one writer, James Freeman. "All-in for Ted Cruz" during the primaries, Freeman wrote a strong attack on Trump's Mob dealings, and had a second ready to go. But as Trump got closer to clinching the nomination, Paul Gigot kept delaying publication, saying "it needed work." Once Trump became the likely Republican nominee, Freeman executed a neat volte-face. "The facts suggest that Mrs. Clinton is more likely to abuse liberties than Mr. Trump," he wrote. "America managed to survive Mr. Clinton's two terms, so it can stand the far less vulgar Mr. Trump."
(Trump's Mafia connections are the sort of scandal that would have killed an ordinary candidacy but barely even register on the outsize scale of Trump scandals.)

To be sure, the Journal has continued to voice occasional criticisms of the president. But the chidings have been gentle, and reserved for the sources of frustration shared by Trump's own staff and legislative allies: He tweets too much, he expresses his racism a little too bluntly. On the subject of the president's authoritarianism and contempt for governing norms, the Journal now runs interference with the same gusto as Fox News.

The Journal editorial page is famously close to Paul Ryan, and generally reflects the priorities and interests of the Republican Party's ruling money wing. Its complete submission to Trump is perfectly emblematic of the choice the party has made.

Clarity

Do whatever you want as long as whatever you want doesn't interfere with whatever anyone else wants or is doing.
That doesn't need any explaining or any further clarity...
that includes whatever act you cause doesn't involve conflict...
        If conflict is involved, why?
I know its simple...
If conflict or complexity is involved, why? Who wants conflict? Who wants complexity?
Power?
Why?
Doesn't power make things harder?
Power over others, doesn't that involve work?
At any level of power? Even like the lonely guard standing keepings others from passing without the proper credentials. What are those credentials? Who created them and why? Control.
There is no creativity in controlling others. What is creativity?

Dictionary

creativity
cre·a·tiv·i·ty
ˌkrēāˈtivədē/Submit
noun
the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work.
synonyms: inventiveness, imagination, innovation, innovativeness, originality, individuality; More

cre·a·tiv·i·ty
ˌkrēāˈtivədē/
noun
  1. the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work.

Creativity, per the initial definition I found showed no propensity for  "creativity, no imagination", for the "production of the artistic work" defined. Was there work of any sort involved in the setting down or repealing of these rules to cover the use of these virtual "roads" to the use of  the Internet.

Imagine the internet as physical places to go where a person could go for information, like the Library, where information is brought and collected for universal use by others who don't have that information, much of which is stored and copied to take home, borrowed for use during an extended time at home, all for free? The roads are free the methods used to traverse them without cost, those who tend to use those roads to travel to and fro...all at no cost...of any kind, for anything. Taxes! There are none.

Canadian Medicine Takes A Walk

A man was brought into Canadian Emergency with a cut on his head
he wasn't tended to quickly enough in a very busy triage
after some time he just left because it was obvious he wasn't going to be helped because the system was busy and built to further itself and not the people...
it was more important to catalog and name everything than help the people the system was supposed to help...
so he just left obvious to all,
(mind you, two of the agitated patients were agitated enough over the complacency to warrant police presence over this complacency,
if that makes any sense)
and were complaining so much about it that a police presence was needed to try and bring calmness
instead creating further tension because nothing ever was explained without further, animosity, anger, quiescence and ignorance

Pain

Pain is part of life...
Like everything,
Question it,
From where does it come,
Why?
Purpose.
How long will it persist,
Does it have intelligence?
Does its source have intelligence, intention
We all experience pain
As suffering
As experience
As indifference
To cloud your mind
To fear
To sharpen
To notify
To begin
To end
sentient,corporeal life starts in pain
sentient,corporeal life ends in pain
is there a difference
