Which is bad? Are both good and/or bad dependent on the perception of either, of the observer and the consequences from which they draw upon?

I know how my brother John felt upon death… Fear… Not of death but of not having completed most of what was started in his life, an understanding of not understanding...a life complete… but can anyone have a complete life… can anyone ever achieve a life complete? He was struggling to hold on finding ways to stay significant, relevant, perhaps one thinks you should matter and you realise you don't… You think of yourself relative to others; you are still in existence but as you age, are you relevant relative to others of your age or just be relevant to yourself always be relevant to yourself never let others make you relevant or is that relevant mean? Can you be relevant to just yourself or do you need someone to be relevant… Are you relevant? At the very least make yourself relevant, important to yourself if no one else...
